LtCol Armando Gonzalez Accomplishments While Serving in Colombia

LtCol Armando Gonzalez is a transitional military officer with many years of experience in the logistics field and supply chain. Here are some of his accomplishments during his career while serving in Colombia:
  • He developed a 24th month support plan for the Colombian Marines which was aligned with  Colombia’s new counter insurgent strategy in order to bring an end to their internal war.
  • Implemented, and expertly managed a million-dollar budget of both current and previous Foreign Military Financing monies in order to train Colombian Marines Forces as they continued their interdiction operations and counter insurgent war.
  • His continuous monitoring of partner nation Colombian Marines has led to an overall improvement in training efficiencies, doctrine & policy development, including out sourcing solutions for both riverine and ground operations with the current host-nation war strategy against the Fuerzas Armadas Republica de Colombia.
  • He oversaw the complete execution of the first ever, unmanned aerial vehicle operation. In addition to that, he also created a support package for Partnership of the America’s training exercise an exercise involving more than 1,000 U.S service members operating in a foreign country.
LtCol Armando Gonzalez completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chapman University, Orange, CA. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA. When he is not busy with his professional commitments, he likes to play golf, read books, and distance running.
